Over the duration of this online short course, you will work through the following modules:
Module 1
An Overview of Organizational Cybersecurity Leadership Development
Understand the evolution of the CISO role and apply the McKinsey 7-S framework to cybersecurity leadership.
Module 2
Developing a Cybersecurity Strategy and Managing Risk
Learn different approaches to cybersecurity strategy, emerging technology and trends, and how to manage risk.
Module 3
Establishing the Right Cybersecurity Organization With the Right Discipline
Explore the critical functions of information security and reporting relationships, and understand and mitigate the likelihood and impact of a breach.
Module 4
The Laws, Regulations, Ethics, and Privacy Concerns of Cybersecurity
Consider how the law, regulations, ethics, and privacy landscape influence and shape the security strategy for an enterprise.
Module 5
Acquiring and Maintaining a Skilled Workforce
Understand how leadership must influence training, knowledge, awareness, and wisdom in order to positively affect the security strategy of an organization.
Module 6
Partnering With Executives and Board of Directors
Partner with executives and learn to give presentations to the board to gain support in terms of funding or strategy.
